‘That’s Sad, Ted’ Sean Hannity Crushes Ted Koppel For Telling Him He Is ‘Bad For America’

In an interview retired CBS journalist Ted Koppel told Sean Hannity that he was ‘bad for America’. In Koppel’s view American’s are stupid people who are unable to distinguish between facts and opinions. Koppel believes that when Hannity shares his opinions people will be confused and think he is saying facts.

“We have to give some credit to the American people that they are somewhat intelligent and that they know the difference between an opinion show and a news show,” responded Hannity, although Koppel didn’t seem to think that this was possible. “You’re cynical,” responded Hannity.

“I am cynical,” responded Koppel. “Do you think we’re bad for America? You think I’m bad for America?” asked Hannity. “Yeah,” said Koppel bluntly. However Hannity didn’t like his cynicism and the way he looks down on the American people. “You do? Really?” asked Hannity.

“In the long haul I think you and all these opinion shows –” started Koppel. “That’s sad, Ted. That’s sad,” responded Hannity. “No, you know why? Because you’re very good at what you do, and because you have attracted a significantly more influential-” started Koppel before Hannity interjected. “You are selling the American people short,” said Hannity.

“You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts,” said Koppel. This is a perfect example of Koppel sharing an opinion, which he accused Hannity of doing. Check out the video below.
