Kirsters Baish| Over the years Missouri Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal has not been shy about her Liberal mindset, and hasn’t been scared to speak out against Conservatives… but it’s looking like things are about to change. We have seen President Trump deal with so many different issues since he has come into office, but it seems like the issues involving other politicians are the worst kind. We’ve seen the Left getting more and more radicalized, issuing violence all around our country. This can’t go on much longer, and it seems as though we are taking a step in the right direction. Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal took it way too far when she posted on Facebook that she wished for President Donald Trump to be assassinated.
Since Chappelle-Nadal made the sick comment, the country has been in an uproar, understandably. You can’t use Facebook as a platform to threaten the President of the United States. Now, Republicans and Democrats alike are questioning Chappelle-Nadal’s intentions, and have been calling for her resignation. Many believe that she will be fired and removed from every single one of her duties, which she should be.
Some changes have already come into play for the time being. Senate Democratic Caucus leader Senator Gina Walsh explained that Maria Chappelle-Nadal has started to become a “distraction” to the rest of the senators. She gave a statement which explained that Chappelle-Nadal has been taken off of all committees.
She explained, “it is important that the Missouri Senate conducts their work without distractions. With that in mind, Sen. Chappelle-Nadal has been removed from her committee assignments. This will help to ensure the success of the Senate, and the state, going forward.”
This is a wonderful step in the right direction. Although we all know that Chappelle-Nadal should be removed completely from her position, we can work with this stipulation for now. It’s definitely not a good sign for a politician when members of their own party have turned against them, so I’m sure we can expect to see more repercussions sooner rather than later.
Chapelle-Nadal was working in eight different committees. These committees included veterans and military affairs, public assistance, seniors, families and children, judiciary and civil and criminal jurisprudence, government accountability, education, health and pensions, and public employee retirement.

The next step after this one is a firing. She will undoubtedly be let go at some point. Either that or she can resign. But apparently that is not something that she is currently thinking about. After her comment, that said that she “wished that Trump was assassinated,” people were shocked.
There is simply no reason for this kind of behavior from a government official. She should no better than to call for something as serious as this. This is a direct threat to the president of the United States.
Nadal has no business still being employed in the Senate of Missouri. The fact that she is still here and talking about Trump shows exactly what is wrong with this country. Eventually, she will be forced out and will be without a job. That is what conservatives have been waiting for.
It’s nice to finally see a Leftist being reprimanded for her unacceptable behavior. After comedian Kathy Griffen displayed a prop meant to represent the severed head of President Trump and got off with barely a slap on the wrist, it’s refreshing to see Chappelle-Nadal actually seeing some justice for her despicable comment. Let’s hope this is just the beginning of her end!
